I love the bouncy beat throughout the verses and how that pushes through to the chorus so well. The instrumentation works perfectly and I really like how the whole song has been put together.
The lyrics are wonderful, and I think it's the lyrics that usually draw me towards ballads the most. They tend to be the songs with the most lyrical meaning and intricacy, and it's always nice to hear. This one's actually a happy ballad though, so where I'm usually all about the sad songs (oops), I'm really drawn to this one and I don't know, maybe it's a little bit relatable too ('she's the girl that no one ever knows').
So definitely check this one out if you're feeling like something soft but cheery, there's a link at the top of the page.
Until next time.
